Film.

It seems to be all the rage these days. And thanks to my good friend and fellow photographer [Lonnie] I have slowly become intrigued. I have many friends that actually shoot Film cameras, and super duper props to them. I love the film look, but shooting with an actual Film camera was just not for me.

I absolutely love the film look, but my style has developed into something different. [Anna] told me that she would describe my photography as Fresh, Young & Bold.  The natural film look just didn’t fit into that category. Also, I found it super frustrating trying to edit pictures to have that classic film style.

But, as you may have noticed with my recent travel photography, I have been playing with some awesome new actions.

Friend: You have to try them, you will love it
Me: I don’t know, I already have my….
Friend: I SAID TRY THEM OR BEWARE MY FURY
Me: Ok Ok. jeez.

In comes [VSCO]. Their stuff is, for lack of a better word, kickass. They made it so easy for me, with one click of my mouse, to play around and change my photos to showcase a natural film look. I love it.

Of course, this does not mean I will be changing my style or photography anytime soon. But, sometimes that film look works, and its nice to have something as cool as VSCO on my side when I know I want that style.  If you are photographer, I highly suggest checking them out.
