PINK // F**king Perfect

Thursday, January 27th, 2011

Made a wrong turn
Once or twice
Dug my way out
Blood and fire
Bad decisions
That’s alright

Whether you like the artist or not, I like that a lot of them are releasing these pretty powerful songs that send out some damn positive messages. One of my favorites at the moment is Pink’s “F**king Perfect”. I know, and can argue, that a lot of us have felt less than perfect throughout or lives. We will also continue to have days/weeks/months where we will be unable to shake that feeling of inferiority to something.

Pretty, pretty please
Don’t you ever, ever feel
Like your less than
Fuckin’ perfect

I love PINK.

Macklemore // The Town

I am currently obsessed with this song. It was pretty much on repeat the 300 million hours it took to get to India and back. It is one of those songs that remind you how much power lyrics have. It was released a year ago, but haven’t fully appreciated till now. Actually, yesterday as I was running the hills of my hometown, I stopped and watched the sunset as I listened to this song. Amazing.

It makes me miss my old hood so much. No wonder I contemplate on moving back all the time. I never ever will regret moving there after high school. Because as Macklemore so truthfully puts it:

The skyline is etched in my veins
You can never put that out, no matter how hard it rains.

OK Go – Last Leaf – Official Video

TWO videos in a row? I know I know. But I just had to post this up. I found it incredibly amazing.
Also, because I like bread.
And also, because I had a roommate that wasted probably as much bread that was used in this video.

My Love for Nicki Minaj

Thursday, November 11th, 2010

The song posted above was my sister and I’s song all throughout our trip in Brazil.

The little dance that Wayne does at 37 seconds became my new dance for life.

Also, if you get me drunk enough I can sing Nicki Minaj’s solo starting at 2:12 in its entirety as my friends recently learned in New Orleans.

Yes, I am. AWESOME.

All Caps // Don’t Unplug Me

Its awesome how Youtube has changed things especially when it comes to independent music. I am obsessed with the song and video above. I have no idea why. Its a cheap video and the whole song is sung on auto-tune (which they did on purpose), but still, I love it. Also, if you search it on youtube its crazy how many fans have made a personal music video to the song.
